You can really use any Monsoon Coast spice blend for this. Our favourites are Mahavira’s Feast, Punjabi Garam Masala, Arabian Baharat and Moroccan La Kama.
Masala Roasted Chickpeas
Ingredients
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 can Chickpeas Washed and drained and pat dried.
Monsoon Coast Spice Blend of your choice
- 1-2 tbsp Arabian Baharat or
- 1-2 tbsp Mahaviras Feast or
- 1-2 tbsp Moroccan La Kama or
- 1-2 tbsp
Punjabi Garam Masala
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Place rack in the middle of the oven.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine salt, Monsoon Coast spice and oil. Add chickpeas and stir until well coated.1 tsp kosher salt, 3 tbsp olive oil, 1 can Chickpeas, 1-2 tbsp Arabian Baharat, 1-2 tbsp Mahaviras Feast, 1-2 tbsp Moroccan La Kama, 1-2 tbsp Punjabi Garam Masala
- Place chickpeas onto baking sheet and spread out evenly over the pan.
- Bake for 45 minutes. Stir every 10-15 minutes to ensure even roasting.
