You can really use any Monsoon Coast spice blend for this. Our favourites are Mahavira’s Feast, Punjabi Garam Masala, Arabian Baharat and Moroccan La Kama.

Masala Roasted Chickpeas are a delightful and nutritious snack that packs a flavourful punch. The chickpeas can be seasoned with the blend of your choice, creating a savoury coating.

  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 can Chickpeas Washed and drained and pat dried.

Monsoon Coast Spice Blend of your choice


  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Place rack in the middle of the oven.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, combine salt, Monsoon Coast spice and oil. Add chickpeas and stir until well coated.
    1 tsp kosher salt, 3 tbsp olive oil, 1 can Chickpeas, 1-2 tbsp  Arabian Baharat, 1-2 tbsp Mahaviras Feast, 1-2 tbsp Moroccan La Kama, 1-2 tbsp Punjabi Garam Masala

  • Place chickpeas onto baking sheet and spread out evenly over the pan.
  • Bake for 45 minutes. Stir every 10-15 minutes to ensure even roasting.
