The Perfect Cup of Chai
Ingredients
- 4 cups Water
- 4 tsp Railway Chai rounded
- 4 tsp Organic Assam Tea level
- 1 1/2 cups Whole Milk or Almond/Oat Milk warmed
- 2-3 tbsp Raw Cane Sugar to taste
- 1 pinch salt optional (for balance)
Instructions
- 4 rounded teaspoons of Railway Chai. Optional: Lightly crush.4 tsp Railway Chai
- Put water into a saucepan and add the chai spices.4 cups Water, 4 tsp Railway Chai
- Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, partially cover and let simmer for 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat, add Assam Tea. (You can use another black tea; green or Rooibos also work.) Cover and steep for 2-3 minutes.4 tsp Organic Assam Tea
- Strain into warm milk. It tastes best with whole milk. Sweeten to taste. Add a little salt for a balanced flavour.1 1/2 cups Whole Milk or Almond/Oat Milk, 2-3 tbsp Raw Cane Sugar, 1 pinch salt
