Moghul Curry



In Southern India, Islamic and Arabian culinary sensibilities harmonized with the local Indian cuisine during the Moghul reign of the 16th and 17th centuries. This was the inspiration for our beloved heady Moghul Curry: Aromatic accents of cloves and cinnamon rise above the robust curry flavours and earthy golden turmeric to create a balanced culinary delight for all lovers of Indian cuisine. We also add freshly dried curry leaves, a traditional Indian herb especially in the South, to add that iconic subtle fragrance of a southern golden curry.

Moghul Curry is the first blend we started making at Monsoon Coast over 20 years ago, and has a loyal following of fans (including us) because of the balanced mild flavour of its comforting golden curry sauce, which is wonderful in a myriad of dishes.
