Chai-Spiced Keto Biscuits
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter (softened)
- 1/3 cup brown Swerve Sweetener
- 1/3 cup granulated Swerve Sweetener
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 tbsp Chai Pie Spice
- 2+1/3 cup Almond flour
- 1/3 cup coconut flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 F. Line a pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, beat butter with sweeteners until creamed.1/2 cup butter, 1/3 cup brown Swerve Sweetener, 1/3 cup granulated Swerve Sweetener
- Add the egg and beat until combined.1 egg
- Beat in vanilla, and Chai Pie Spice1 tsp Vanilla Extract, 1 tbsp Chai Pie Spice
- Sift in almond flour, coconut flour, baking soda and salt.2+1/3 cup Almond flour, 1/3 cup coconut flour, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1/4 tsp salt
- Roll out dough between two pieces of parchment paper to 1/8 inch thickness.
- Remove top piece of parchment, place back and flip over.
- Cut biscuits with cutter or a knife. Use an offset spatula to transfer the biscuits to the pan.
- Gather leftover dough, re-roll and cut again as needed to use up.
- Bake 8-12 mins depending on thickness and size of biscuits. They should be golden brown when ready.
- Remove from oven and let cool on the pan. Biscuits will harden once fully cooled
