Chai-Spiced Keto Biscuits

Our Creative Director and Baker Extraordinaire, Pete, worked our new Chai Pie Spice into his Keto biscuit recipe, with delicious results.

The kitchen will smell heavenly too.

Ingredients: 

½ cup butter (softened)

1/3 cup brown Swerve Sweetener

1/3 cup granulated Swerve Sweetener

1 egg

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

2 + 1/3 cup Almond flour

1/3 cup coconut flour

½ tsp baking soda

¼ tsp salt

Spices Used: Chai Pie Spice
Prep Time: 30 min
Cook Time: 12 min
Instructions: 

1 – Preheat oven to 325 F. Line a pan with parchment paper.
2 – In a medium bowl, beat butter with sweeteners until creamed.
3 – Add the egg and beat until combined.
4 – Beat in vanilla, and Chai Pie Spice
5 – Sift in almond flour, coconut flour, baking soda and salt.
6 – Roll out dough between two pieces of parchment paper to 1/8 inch thickness.
7 – Remove top piece of parchment, place back and flip over.
8 – Cut biscuits with cutter or a knife. Use an offset spatula to transfer the biscuits to the pan.
9 – Gather leftover dough, re-roll and cut again as needed to use up.
10 – Bake 8-12 mins depending on thickness and size of biscuits. They should be golden brown when ready.
11 – Remove from oven and let cool on the pan. Biscuits will harden once fully cooled
