Balti Spread

In a dry frying pan combine:
1/3 cup raw almonds (chopped small)
1/3 cup raw sesame seeds

Gently roast over a medium heat until golden brown.
Toss the roasted nuts into a food processor and process until fine.

Then add:
1-19 oz can chickpeas, drained and washed
small bunch fresh Cilantro, roughly chopped 
4-5 tbsp fresh lemon or lime juice
salt to taste
3 cloves garlic (to taste)
5-6 tbsp Olive oil
1-3 tsp Monsoon Balti (or to taste)

Once all of the ingredients have been combined in the food processor, mix again. You will have to take breaks and use a spatula to bring the remains down from the sides. Add water or more oil if it is too dry. Process until smooth but on the thick side.

Great as an appetizer on crackers, as a sandwich spread or as a dip with raw veggies.
