For our Punjabi Garam Masala, we roast, grind and hand-mix some of Indiaâ€™s most valued spices to create an aromatic masala, tasting rich and warm without being spicy hot. It works well in dal soups, rice and vegetable dishes like creamy spinach purÃ©e. Garam Masala is usually stirred into a dish towards the end of cooking, so as to not destroy the aromatic oils by over heating.
